Advanced image processing

A range of advanced image processing techniques will be covered in this course. Several aspects will be approached: Optimisation methods for solving image processing problems - Variational methods for image restoration (heat equation) - Image segmentation with partial differential equations (snake, level set). Applications will be implemented on Matlab for different image processing tasks such as tomography, restoration and segmentation of medical images.
