Advanced material sciences and structural design

This course expands the first year course and adresses more specifically the problems of biocompatibility and of the behaviour of complex/composite materials.  These fundamental complements and the topics covered in first year are put in perspective in a collaborative project of a biomedical device developement. As an integrated project, knowledge and skills acquired from other courses will be implemented during this phase.
