IoT for telemedicine

This course will introduce the application of the Internet of Things for remote medical monitoring and telemedicine. Different use cases will be discussed and the specific needs to data acquisition, transmission and processing will be addressed. The deployment of such infrastructure from a technological point of view will be studied as well. Other considerations such as cost, power consumption and security will be reviewed.
