The living bricks

The aim of this course is the study of biological material with a multi-scale vision, from the nanoscale and the cell (starting bricks) up to the human scale (anatomy and pathology), via the scale of mesoscopic circulation of biofluids (soft and microfluidic matter) and macroscopic tissues. The complexity of living matter arises from its multi-scale organization. This course will give a global vision of this subject, based on a muldisciplinary approach. The course will be divided into the following sections:

• Soft matter and microfluidics (22h)
• Tissue modelling (22h)
• Anatomy and pathology (18h)
